Founded by Dr. Marcy Schwartzman in 1985, our practice is now led by a team of experienced dentists including Dr. Amad Chaudhry, Dr. Scarlett Yoo, and Dr. Noa Albanese. 1. Easy Registration
Complete your new patient forms online before your visit, or arrive 15 minutes early and our friendly front desk team will help you through the paperwork. We'll collect your dental and medical history and any specific concerns.
2. Comprehensive Exam
Your dentist will perform a thorough oral exam including digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, gum health assessment, and a bite evaluation. We use the latest digital imaging technology for faster, more comfortable diagnostics.
3. Personalized Plan
We'll sit down with you to discuss our findings, answer your questions, and create a treatment plan tailored to your goals and budget. No pressure, no upselling — just honest recommendations from a team that genuinely cares.
4. Schedule & Go
Before you leave, we'll help you schedule any follow-up appointments and walk you through payment. We provide a detailed receipt you can submit to your benefits provider for reimbursement. Our goal is to make every step simple and stress-free.

New Patient FAQs
No referral is needed. We welcome all new patients directly. Simply call us at 604-266-5313 or schedule online through our website. We're conveniently located inside Oakridge Mall in Vancouver, easily accessible from Oakridge, Cambie, Marpole, and South Vancouver.
Please bring your BC CareCard (or provincial health card), a valid photo ID, your dental insurance card if applicable, and a list of any medications you're currently taking. If you have recent dental X-rays from a previous dentist, those are helpful too — your former office can email them to us at [email protected].
Your first visit typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. This includes a comprehensive oral exam, digital X-rays, an oral cancer screening, a discussion of your dental history and goals, and a personalized treatment plan. We take extra time with new patients so you never feel rushed.
We are a non-assignment office, which means payment is collected at the time of your visit. We accept Visa, Mastercard, debit, and cash (we do not accept American Express). The benefit of non-assignment is that you can pay by credit card to earn points or cash back, and your insurance provider will reimburse you directly — typically within 1–2 business days. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we recommend contacting your benefits provider before your appointment.
